Forsyth County has progressed from its rustic past to a modern community which offers a variety of services to its citizens. Open seven days a week, the Winston-Salem (county seat) Visitor Center is located just south of downtown at the corner of Brookstown Avenue and Cherry Street, in the historic Brookstown Mill area. To get here, take Exit 110A off U.S. 52 or Exit 5C off Business 40, and follow signs to the Visitor Center. How about live music, outdoors, on our downtown streets...three or more nights a week...for 24 weeks a year. And it just starts there.
