While in Hertford, stop by the Perquimans Arts League Gallery, featuring a unique shop and changing exhibits. Missing Mill Park is a beautiful waterfront park ideal for picnicking. The Perquimans County Courthouse Green features a monument to Hertford's favorite son, Baseball-Hall-of-Famer Jim Catfish Hunter.
